モーツアルトピアノ協奏曲23番と言えばアーノンクール＝グルダのアルバムが有名ですが、こちらの映像はアバドとの共演です。 この曲のハイライトは第二楽章アダージョの部分。抜けるような青い秋空を見て感じる悲しさと言えば伝わるでしょうか。慟哭ではなく透明感のある悲しさがどこまで表現できるかが大切ですが、アバド＝グルダの演奏は的確に表現できていると思います。フルート嫌いのモーツアルトですが、フルートが重要なパートを占めています。
