この直前にバーンスタインのチャイコフスキー5番を聴いたのですが、圧倒的にムラヴィンスキーの方が良いです。こういう曲は独裁者じゃないと弾けないんじゃないかと思います。曲の最後の最後、まだ終わっていないのに指揮を止めてメガネを外すシーンがありますが、こんな指揮者の下では怖くて緊張感の中で演奏しなければならないのではないかと想像します。
