ブラジルでブレイクアウトしたジカウイルスは乳児の小頭症を引き起こすなどダメージが大きいがベトナムではまだ報告がされていない。しかしジカウイルスの媒介となるネッタイシマ蚊はベトナムにも生息しているため、保健防疫部門は状況を注視している。

ネッタイシマ蚊はデング熱やの原因となる蚊で、デングは日本人も感染するケースが多い蚊です。ご注意を！
