Cholon’s Binh Tay maket will be closed soon for renovations.

The old Binh Tay market was located at current Nguyen Trai street but it was moved to here due to fire.

Then the current market was constructed at the beginning of 20 century.

After 86 years, the city decided to renovate the building.

Quách Đàm, a business person at the 20 century donated for the modernization of Cholon and now his statue stands at the center of the park within the market.

The market is full of products.

Even cosmetics are sold in chaos.

People are working as usual.

All these products are carried by hand.
