今年ももうこの季節がやってきました。クリスマスシーズンになるとヨーロッパの様々な劇場ではNutcracker（くるみ割り人形）のバレエが演じられますが、今回ご紹介するマリインスキーのくるみ割り人形はいわば本家本元。指揮、演奏、舞台、バレエ全て第一級品です。ゲルギエフも普段の恐ろしいような緊張感からとき離れて、純粋に指揮を楽しんでいるように思われます。ベトナムでも例年、くるみ割り人形はオペラハウスで演じられており、今年は12月7日〜9日の３連夜公演、オペラハウスで催されます。
